It’s nice to have a sense of place. After a couple of Scottish gins, the Chimps have decided they should really do something for the local economy and try a Cornish gin. Despite rumours (reputedly started by Sweep) that the gin is actually distilled from pasties, Foy Gin is a little bit of a revelation. It has a robust flavour with a hint of citrus that the Chimps definitely approve of, and it reminds us a lot of our favourite Monkey 47 gin, just (probably) quite a lot cheaper…..
We had to wrestle the bottle back from Sweep, as we think he believes his own rumours about the distilled pasties…..
In summary, this is an excellent gin and deservedly gets…..
